Buy with care

Helps you use less oil on the tawa and in the air fryer. The catch: most shoot a thin jet, not the fine mist from the reels, and many drip. It doesn't work with thick oils like mustard or cold-pressed.

What the reel shows vs what buyers say

Reel promise
Reality
Fine mist that coats the pan evenly
The most common complaint: many buyers get a single thin stream that lands in one spot. Some say it sprayed well with water but not with oil.
Works with any cooking oil
Thin refined oil works best. Buyers say mustard and cold-pressed oils clog the nozzle or come out as a jet.
No-drip, no mess
Many say oil drips from the nozzle, trigger or lid onto fingers and the counter, especially when pouring or tilted.
Glass body, sturdy build
The glass is fine for most; the plastic cap, handle and trigger are what crack or come loose.

What buyers are complaining about

Ranked by how many of the 142 critical reviews mention each problem.

1
Jet or squirt, not a mist45 of 142

Comes out as a single line or splatters, so the oil isn't spread evenly. Works better with water than oil.

2
Leaks and drips37 of 142

Oil drips from the nozzle, trigger or cap thread, leaving the slab and hands oily.

3
Cap, handle or trigger breaks30 of 142

Flimsy plastic parts: caps that won't close, loose handles, cracked buttons.

4
Arrived used, broken or not the brand shown25 of 142

Broken glass, opened or used units, and a generic bottle instead of the brand pictured.

Buy it if…

  • You use thin refined oil
  • You mostly want a light coat on the tawa, air fryer basket or salad
  • You're fine with a ₹200–₹350 bottle that may need replacing

Skip it if…

  • You cook with mustard, groundnut or cold-pressed oils (a brush works better)
  • You expect the fine, even mist from the reels
  • Drips on the counter will annoy you

Questions people ask

Which oil spray bottle is best in India?

The ₹331 AGARO glass sprayer (6.5/10) had the fewest units that stopped working or arrived damaged; its weak spot is oil leaking around the lid. The ₹214 Misamo 2-in-1 is the most popular, but its plastic cap and handle draw a lot of complaints.

Does an oil sprayer really reduce oil?

Yes, if it sprays well: a few pumps coat a tawa or air fryer basket with far less oil than pouring. If yours shoots a jet, a silicone brush gives you the same control.

Can I use mustard oil in it?

Buyers say no. Mustard and cold-pressed oils are too thick, so they clog the nozzle or come out as a stream. Use thin refined oil.

How do I stop it clogging?

Use it regularly and rinse the nozzle with warm soapy water every week or two. One buyer says it got sticky and stopped spraying after a week unused.
